Principal Message

Hello EVE Families! 🐾

We are excited to begin another great week at East Valley Elementary! We have a special Monday planned as we focus on fire safety, preparedness, character, and leadership.

❤️🖤 A Jaguar Pride Shout-Out!

Before we look ahead to this week, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in this year's District Homecoming Spirit Week! 🎉

We are so proud of our EVE students, staff, and families for showing your Jaguar Pride and joining in the fun throughout the week. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and school spirit were amazing to see!

As a result of everyone's participation, East Valley Elementary took 2nd place in the District Homecoming Spirit Week competition! 🥈🐾

We are incredibly proud of our EVE community and the way you continue to show that Jaguar Pride is something we share together!

🚒 Fire Safety & School Evacuation Drill on Monday

On Monday, our Kinder, KinderBridge (KB), and RISE students will participate in a special assembly with our local Fire Department focused on fire safety and what to do during an emergency.

Following the assembly, we will conduct our first school-wide evacuation drill of the year. This will give our students and staff an opportunity to practice our safety procedures and learn how to respond calmly and safely if an emergency were ever to occur.

We appreciate your support as we help our Jaguars learn that being prepared and knowing what to do helps keep everyone safe. ❤️

🐾 Jag Jam Assembly on Monday

After our evacuation drill, we will wrap up the day with our first Jag Jam assembly of the year! 🎉

Jag Jam is a special time for our EVE community to come together and recognize students and classes who demonstrate excellence in character and leadership and serve as positive role models for their fellow Jaguars.

We are excited to celebrate the many ways our students demonstrate our ROARS each day:

Respect • Ownership • Attitude • Responsibility • Safety

These celebrations are a wonderful reminder that leadership is not just about being in charge. It is about making positive choices, helping others, showing kindness, taking responsibility, and setting an example for those around us.

As we move into a new week, we are proud of the way our students continue to learn, grow, lead, and ROAR each day. Thank you for partnering with us as we help our Jaguars develop the skills they need to be safe, responsible, and caring members of our school community.

Meet Mrs. Krish Our New Counseling TOSA!

We are excited to introduce Mrs. Tina Krish as East Valley Elementary’s new Counseling TOSA! Mrs. Krish has been a valued member of our EVE family for the past six years, and we are thrilled to have her step into this new leadership role.

In her new role, Mrs. Krish will help support our students, staff, and school community through:

❤️ SEL Support – Promoting social-emotional learning and student well-being

🐾 PBIS Support – Strengthening positive behavior and school-wide systems

⭐ Leadership – Building capacity, supporting staff, and helping lead with vision

Mrs. Krish will continue to lead with heart, purpose, and Jaguar Pride as she works alongside our students and staff.

We are so excited for the positive impact Mrs. Krish will make at EVE!

Counselor TOSA News

🐾 Krish’s Counseling News: Hello EVE Jaguars! 💙

Our 5th Grade Leadership students had an amazing time participating in the East Valley Homecoming Parade! 🎉 They were excited to ride in a 1925 Stutz Fire Truck, thanks to Eric Duffield for generously allowing us to use this incredible piece of history.

The fire truck was previously stationed right here in Moxee and even made an appearance in a movie! 🚒 Our students had a wonderful experience riding on such a unique and historic vehicle while representing East Valley Elementary.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make this experience possible and to our 5th Grade Leadership students for showing their Jaguar Pride! 🐾❤️🖤

🐾 Dear East Valley Families,

We are thrilled to welcome back our amazing East Valley Elementary PTO for the 2026–2027 school year! We are fortunate to have the same dedicated PTO team continuing to serve our school community and make a difference for our students and staff.

Our PTO is made up of caring parents and family members who generously give their time, energy, and creativity to support East Valley Elementary students, teachers, and families. Through fundraisers, school events, staff appreciation, classroom support, and special activities, their efforts help provide experiences and resources that make our school an even more welcoming and engaging place to learn.

We are incredibly grateful for their continued partnership and the countless ways they help make OUR House a special place for our Jaguars. ❤️🖤

MORNING DRIVE-UP DROP-OFF PROCEDURES

This is a friendly reminder about our morning drive-up drop-off procedures to help ensure a safe and efficient arrival for all students.

The drive-up lane is designed for quick drop-off only, where students are able to exit the vehicle independently. To keep the line moving smoothly and to reduce safety concerns, we ask that families follow these expectations:

Please remain in your vehicle at all times while in the drive-up lane.
Vehicles should not park, turn off engines, or stop for extended periods in the drop-off line.
Students should be ready to exit promptly once the vehicle reaches the drop-off area.
If your child needs assistance getting out of the car or walking to the building, please park in the lot and escort them safely to the entrance.

These procedures are important to minimize delays and, most importantly, to keep all students and families safe during our busiest arrival time.

Thank you for your cooperation and support as we work together to maintain a smooth and safe morning routine for everyone. 🐾
