Here are the steps to enrolling in the Affordable Connectivity Program:
1. Go to AffordableConnectivity.gov to submit an application or print out a mail-in application.
2. Contact your preferred participating provider to select an eligible plan & have the discount applied to your bill.

SUN BUCKS (Summer-EBT)
- Students qualify for the program based on family income or if they already receive certain state benefits.
- DSHS will be mailing cards to eligible families.
2026 Summer information update:
Over half of students receiving SUN Bucks qualify based solely on the school data. The card vendor is working to mail cards as quickly as possible but is experiencing delays. Because of this delay, we know that some households may have questions.
Below are several resources if you have questions:
- SUN Bucks Contact Center: Households can call 833-543-3230 to learn whether a student’s benefit has been approved and if a card has been mailed. Households should also call the Contact Center to change their address.
- Sign Up for Text Alerts: If a student’s benefit has not been processed yet, households can sign up for text alerts to get customized updates about the status of their benefit and card.
- DSHS SUN Bucks FAQ: The SUN Bucks FAQ has been updated to reflect the card mailing delay.
- DSHS SUN Bucks Application: Students who became newly eligible after your last upload should complete a SUN Bucks application to receive the benefit.
Please reach out to SummerEBT@k12.wa.us with questions.
