Big 5 Initiative

  1. The Common Core State Standards (or other approved curricula where the CCS do not exist) are our adopted curricula.
  2. We work collaboratively to identify and align enduring understandings of CCSS.
  3. We work collaboratively to identify learning targets for daily lessons.
  4. We work collaboratively to assure authentic assessments are utilized for each enduring understanding and the corresponding learning targets  and will include a level of rigor necessary to prepare students for high stakes assessments. 
  5. We work collaboratively to identify and implement appropriate differentiated instruction, interventions, and enrichments to support student learning.
