East Valley Virtual Academy (EVVA)

East Valley Virtual Academy (EVAA)

A Partial-Time Online Learning Partnership for Non-Resident Families

Welcome to the East Valley Virtual Academy (EVVA).  EVVA is designed for Washington State students who primarily reside outside of the East Valley School District boundaries.

This specialized, state-approved Alternative Learning Experience (ALE) program provides a high-quality online curriculum to non-resident, part-time students. We proudly partner with out-of-district homeschool families and private school students who wish to supplement their current educational journey with accredited public school courses.

DO YOU LIVE WITHIN THE EAST VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT?

If you live within our local district boundaries, EVVA is not the primary online option for you. Instead, please visit our full-time local program: East Valley Online (EVO). EVVA is primarily for out-of-district, partial schedules and cannot serve full-time students.

Is EVVA Right for Your Student?

EVVA is intentionally structured to act as a supportive resource for non-traditional, part-time educational tracks. The ideal candidate for EVVA is a Washington State student who:

  • Is an Out-of-District Homeschool Student
Families who want to maintain their independent homeschool framework but wish to access accredited public school curriculum, specialized courses, or lab sciences.
  • Is Enrolled in a Private School
Students attending a private academy outside our district who need to take a specific core or elective course that their current campus does not offer.
  • Requires a Partial Online Schedule
EVVA enrollment is strictly capped at a maximum of a 0.8 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE). This means students take a partial course load through East Valley while completing the rest of their schooling independently.

Understanding the Difference: EVO vs. EVVA
