Today our EVHS Class of 2018 took their final strolls through our East Valley Schools to share their success with our future Red Devils and all of the teachers and school staff that helped them along the way!

Our youngest East Valley learners went crazy for pancakes during our last PreK-K Free Family Fun Night yesterday at T.H.E... The theme, Pancakes, Pancakes did not disappoint! From racing to flip flapjacks representing colors and shapes, to making pancake pattern snacks, the night was definitely a well-rounded, sweet spin on making learning fun for ALL!

17 East Valley High School Seniors earned Washington State Opportunity Scholarships this year. The WSOS helps fund students earning degrees in STEM or health care fields by providing $2,500 during the freshman and sophomore years, $5,000 for junior year, $7,500 for senior year and an additional $5,000 if the degree takes an extra year. Congratulations Accomplished Red Devils!!

Usually our East Valley Superintendent, John Schieche, gets to share our school and district successes. Today, we get to celebrate him! Congratulations to John for being recognized as the Washington School Public Relations Association (WSPRA)’s 2018 Crystal Apple Award Winner. Your work to keep our community informed and in support of our schools is essential to the success of our District!

In honor of Public School Volunteer Week, we'd like to take the opportunity to recognize some of the outstanding individuals that give back to our students and schools. Today we're honoring Pam Dilbeck & Kimberly Greenwood of East Valley High School!

Both Pam & Kimberly have been heavily involved in our Red Devil Theatre Company since 2013. They cook meals during dress rehearsals to ensure our students have a healthy meal to draw energy from, they organize and run fundraisers, and go above and beyond to make things happen. These East Valley moms are crucial to the success of our theatre program. We thank Pam & Kimberly for their continued service to our schools and students. #EastValleyENGAGE
