Wes Edwards was appointed to the East Valley School Board in 2022 to fill a vacancy on the board and is grateful to have a more active role in the years to come. Wes has been married to his wife Murrena since 1991. He took a position at BOR Architecture in Yakima in 2009 and his family was able to relocate to the EV area in 2010 from Idaho. Wes and Murrena have nine children, ranging in age from 10 to 29, all of whom have attended schools within the district, with three currently still enrolled at T.H.E. and E.V.H.S. In his free time, Wes also enjoys making good barbeque to stay in touch with his southern roots, especially if it is for other people who enjoy a taste of southern hospitality.
Wes believes that all he does should benefit his children, other youth, and his community. He has been involved in serving his community through various organizations since 1992 and has been actively involved in the Yakima area since 2009. Wes is now one of the owners of BOR Architecture and has practiced architecture for over 30 years. It is in his nature to pay attention to detail and value the opinions of others, while providing a creative and hands-on approach to problem-solving in order to accomplish the goals established by his clients. Wes will continue to apply these same values in his service to EVSD. |

After growing up in Selah, Eric Farmer and his wife, Jessica (married in 2004), decided to make the move to Moxee. Although they outgrew their first home, they didn’t want to leave the great friends and community they had found here in East Valley. In 2015, Eric decided to serve his District to ensure continuous improvement in education for his children and those of his fellow East Valley families.
Together Eric and Jessica have 4 kids: Logan, Emmett , Madeline and Timothy. Right now Eric is gearing up for his busy season as a tax accountant at Moss Adams LLP. When he’s not working, serving our board, or playing with the kids, you can find him skiing, mountain biking, enjoying delicious food or rooting for his BYU Cougars!
