he ran cross country and track. He met his wife, Katy, at Whitworth and together they have two children, ages 4 and 7.
After graduating from Whitworth University, Mr. Cooper began his career at Rogers High School in Spokane, teaching social studies and coaching track and cross country. He went on to pursue a degree in Educational Leadership and became the Assistant Principal and then Principal at Mark Morris High School in Longview, WA.
In his free time, Mr. Cooper loves to go camping, play golf and do just about anything outside.
Mr. Cooper says, "I am most looking forward to joining the East Valley Central staff to continue the amazing work they have been doing. I am excited to be a part of and contribute to the student-centered approach they have and an awesome school culture that has been created."
