As with the reopening of our middle school and elementary schools, there are strict guidelines that we must follow as part of our reopening plan.

1. We must begin bringing students back for in-person instruction in a hybrid model to ensure proper social distancing can be achieved. On February 16^th, students who wish to return for in-person instruction will be divided into two cohorts based on last name. Each cohort will attend four half-days of in-person instruction. (Click here to review our hybrid schedule). We are excited for this first step in the right direction in serving our students.

1. Families will have a choice. We also understand that some families will not be comfortable sending their students back into the classroom at all. Students who choose to remain 100% virtual, will join live class sessions during those times shown for their assigned cohort. (Click here to review our hybrid schedule). Students who elect to remain remote, must continue with remote learning until at least April 12^th.

3. All students will be responsible for completing teacher assigned activities on Wednesdays, which may include in person or virtual learning sessions, as assigned by their teacher.

1. All students and staff are required to wear masks at all times when in the building or on the bus & maintain 6 feet social distancing from others.
2. Staff will have the option of voluntary COVID-19 testing. More details about voluntary testing will be provided.  

6. To limit the number of students riding the bus, we encourage walking, biking, or being driven by caregivers.This will allow us to maintain social distancing on each bus to the greatest extent possible, for as long as possible.

1. We all need to do our part to keep each other healthy. We have established strict health protocols that have allowed us to reopen our middle and elementary schools without any instances of COVID-19 being traced to spread occurring in our buildings or on our buses. EVHS students will be expected to attest to their health and have their temperature taken prior to entering the building each day. It is important for students to stay home if they are demonstrating any symptoms that could be attributed to COVID-19 or, if they have been in close contact with someone with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19. It is equally important that students and families limit social gatherings, practice social distancing and wear masks outside of school to help further reduce the spread of this disease in our community and help keep our schools open!
