East Valley School District No.90

I would like to start off by saying how excited I am for the 24-25 school year. We are looking forward to continuing the positive momentum, while continuing to grow the expertise of our staff, enhance the experiences of our students, and improve in the way we support students to ensure success.  As we move into this new year, we plan to focus efforts on building a stronger multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) to meet the needs of our students, not only academically, but also behaviorally and socially/emotionally.  In addition, we will continue to build on our previous work in connecting students with school, working collaboratively within teacher teams, and engaging students in high quality learning experiences each and every day.  

 

With this work, it is more important than ever that we strengthen the partnership between our schools and families to ensure continued growth for each and every one of our students. Through the partnership created by our work together, we will build the routines necessary for academic success.  This includes regular attendance, academic engagement, and positive social interactions/behaviors.  By working together, students will obtain the skills necessary, both at home and in school, for not only success in the classroom, but also for their future.

 

The East Valley School District is excited to welcome our students back for the 24-25 school year.  We plan to continue to build on all the great things that occurred in 23-24 and grow in those areas that showed opportunities for improvement. We are committed to ensuring that each classroom fosters a positive culture, focused on student learning, while at the same time providing the support necessary to make that happen.
