This is a special week in the East Valley School District as we take the opportunity to recognize our teachers, counselors, and educational specialists during Teacher Appreciation Week. 

Although we do not stop to thank you often enough, the Board of Directors and I realize how important you are to our students and our community.   It is through your compassion and unique ability to reach the hearts and minds of our students that they are inspired to reach their potential. We appreciate your hard work and your unyielding commitment to excellence while educating our children.   

We continue to face challenging times in the world of education as the performance standards are on the rise, funding continues to dwindle and accountability has never been more intense. We are so proud of you and your hard work in taking every opportunity to make a significant difference for the students you serve. You are the professionals that never give up on our children. You look for the right connections and you are masters at finding the teachable moment to make a profound difference for your children.
